Gyro Survey Expert Tory Martin makes an unusual find on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 episode of “The Curse of Oak Island.” Martin discovered a strange, inscribed stone while working on the island off the south shore of Novia Scotia, Canada. After closer inspection, researcher Doug Crowell thought the inscription looked like Ruinic. Norse explorer Daxa is believed to have made landfall in Canada in 1000 AD. Members of the team visited the Yarmouth County Museum where there is another similar, mysterious stone. A doctor discovered the inscribed stone in 1812. The meaning and true language remain a mystery but the language could be Norse. “The Curse of Oak Island” is on Tuesday evenings on the History Channel.
