Beyonce's mom, Tina Lawson reveals how Beyonce choose the baby name Rumi for her child.
The pop star and her husband Jay-Z welcomed twins. Lawson confirmed in her Instagram post on July 14 that the twins are a boy and a girl. She also listed the one-month old's names as Sir Carter and Rumi Carter.

Apparently, Rumi is named after a 13th century poet.  Beyonce's mom captioned a poem by the poet Rumi on Instagram on July 15. Lawson writes, "This is poetry by the the 13th century poet "Rumi."It's not only beautiful but logical love number three Sometimes we are the reason we can't find love!!! We have to work on ourselves to be whole."
