Designer Carolina Herrera nephew kidnapped and murdered
Famous fashion designer Carolina Herrera's nephew was abducted and murdered in Venezuela.
Herrara is known for dressing First Ladies.
According to TMZ, Herrera's nephew, Reinaldo Herrera, 34, was kidnapped from a restaurant in Caracas Thursday night. The kidnappers also took his business partner, Fabrizio Mendoza, 31.
Authorities say a ransom was paid, but the criminals killed the men anyway. They left their bodies in a truck on a highway near Caracas.
Carolina is Venezuelan-American. She has dressed the likes of First Ladies, Jackie Onassis, Laura Bush, Michelle Obama, and Melania Trump.
Carolina issued a statement. She says, "The family and I appreciate your kindness. Our only hope is that the tragic assassination of our young nephew, Reinaldo and his colleague, Fabrizio will serve to mitigate the terrible carnage and murders that are committed against our youth in Venezuela. The Electoral Results must be respected. The Communist Dictatorship must go."
