Jay and Silent Bob fans who are eagerly awaiting a new movie will be pleased to know Clerks III anticipated release date is January 1, 2018. According to IMDB, this is "The third and final installment of filmmaker Kevin Smith's 'Clerks' series." A Clerks television show is also in the works. 

Actor/Director Kevin Smith will reprise his role as Silent Bob in Clerks III.  The movie will star Kevin Smith, (Silent Bob,) Rosario Dawson (Becky,) Jason  Mewes (Jay,) Brian O' Halloran (Dante,) and Marilyn Ghigliotti (Veronica.)

The budget is an estimated $10 million. The movie will be filmed in Philadelphia.
