Dr. Luke Finally Responds to Kesha's Drugging, Rape Allegations

Dr. Luke publicly responds to Kesha's rape allegations by taking to Twitter. According to US Weekly, Kesha has accused the music producer of physical, sexual, and mental abuse during the 10 years they've worked together.

Dr. Luke finally denied the allegations. On Feb. 22, 2016, he tweeted; "I didn't rape Kesha and I have never had sex with her. Kesha and I were friends for many years and she was like my little sister."

According to US Weekly, a New York judge denied an injunction for Kesha to be released from her Sony contract with music producer Dr. Luke, despite her allegations of physical, sexual, and mental abuse. According to E! News, Kesha won't have to work directly with Dr. Luke.

Kesha filed a lawsuit against the music producer in Oct. 2014.

E! News reports, fans have taken to social media with the hashtag Free Kesha. Pop star Taylor Swift donated $250,000 to Kesha for legal bills during this trying time.

According to US Weekly, Kesha claims she was drugged and the next morning woke up  in Dr. Luke's bed "sore and sick with no memory of how she got there."

Dr. Luke allegedly threatened to ruin Kesha's career if she spoke out about the rape and ruin her life and her family's lives.US Weekly reports Kesha thought Dr. Luke had the money and power to make good on his threats.
