George Clooney and Amal Get Married in Venice
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are married in Venice, Italy. The Oscar winning actor tied the knot with human rights attorney Amal Alamuddin Saturday September 27th. Celebrity guests included Matt Damon, Anna Wintour, Cindy Crawford, and Bill Murray.
Clooney and Amal were spotted arriving in Venice Friday. The couple was seen cruising the canals in a water taxi. According to the AP, city officials are closing the area along the Grand Canal on Monday. There is speculation there will be a civil ceremony Monday following Saturday's ceremony.
The Hollywood actor ate breakfast with Supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, presumably before the wedding.
The AP captured video of Clooney on his way to the wedding at the Aman Hotel. He lead a parade of boats which travel across the Venice lagoon and down the Grand Canal to their destination. Paparazzi followed the action.
